Mortgage Loan Officer - Residential Lending (WesBanco)

SUMMARY:
Provideongoing development of mortgage loan production including dissemination of loanproducts, pricing and various lending requirements to borrowers. Realtor groupsand other related parties and Centers of Influence. Interview borrowers andgather specific information necessary to originate and provide for the timelyprocessing, underwriting and closing of individual loan requests.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Associate¿sdegree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six monthsto one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.
Knowledgeof Client, FHLMC, FHA, and VA preferred and experience with related AUS a plus.
Mortgageloan origination lending background is required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Abilityto calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions,proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Abilityto apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
Professionaldemeanor in appearance, interpersonal relations, work ethic and attitude.
Mustpossess developed oral and written skills to communicate with peers and teammembers in a positive manner, portraying respect and professionalism with alllines of business.

Maintainindustry/product knowledge necessary for dissemination to general public.
Discussand gather information regarding individual¿s mortgage needs.
Pre-qualifypotential applicants.
Completeloan application, input into various software systems.
Obtainnecessary documentation, analyze and discuss credit issues and DTI ratios withcustomer.
Followthrough and assist as needed with processing and closing of mortgage loan.
Promotemortgage programs to realtors and other group organizations.
Bean active member of the local board of realtors, attending realtor luncheons.Volunteer for various committees; attend trade, home shows and open houses asrequired.
Maintainactive membership in Chamber of Commerce and other related functions.
Keepborrower informed of processing/closing events of loan file.
Promoteand cross-sell all bank products and services available.
Workwith assigned branches to provide information, training and direction regardingmortgage loan products and programs.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Bankingis a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintaina proficiency in the bank¿s policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws,rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you willbe performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliancetraining in a timely manner.
SAFEAct Requirements: Must be willing toregister and maintain registry with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing Systemand Registry (NMLS) and comply with SAFE Act requirements.
