Loan Processor / Partner (Peoples Home Equity)

About the position:
The Loan Processor/Partner will oversee the origination documentation, file management, and communication for the Loan Officer and Team. This position will be in direct communication with Clients, Realtors, Builders, and Business Partners.
PROCESSING DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ability to maintain a pipeline of 20 – 40 transactions at any given time
  • Ability to fund 20-25 transactions per month
  • Update/correct borrower income calculations in LOS. (all income types)
  • Update/correct borrower Schedule REO calculations in LOS. (all property types)
  • Run and review Automated Underwriting System (LPA, DU, GUS)
  • Run and review Flood Certifications
  • Generate initial disclosures (when required)
  • Process Change of Circumstances (when situation dictates)
  • Submit file for underwriting review
  • Order closing documents (including Closing Disclosure).
  • Coordinate and confirm loan closing with appropriate third party (escrow/title)
  • Ensure all closing loan stipulations are satisfied
  • Remain current on all required training (including LOS and regulations)
LOAN PARTNER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Update or correct data from new loan files through loan software
  • Package loans and prepare files for submission to processing review with complete documentation and disclosures for clients
  • Order appraisals, escrow, title, HOA items, insurance, and 3rd party verification's
  • Track loans through process, and follow up on file from submission to close
  • Track all outstanding items on all files and follow up with customers to ensure timely receipt of necessary documentation
  • Perform weekly update calls and Document conversations and activity in contact management system
  • Assist Sr. Processors with miscellaneous tasks as requested for loans closing
  • Perform other support/administrative tasks as requested
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • At least 2 years of current Mortgage experience
  • Experience in DU/DO, LP, & major Origination systems, and the residential mortgage loan process preferred
  • Processing in Encompass LOS a plus
  • NMLS MLO License a plus
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook applications
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Accurate with data entry, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and ability to multi task
  • Strong ability and desire to work with others, both employees and customers, in a cooperative and professional manner
  • Must possess good judgment, be able to accept responsibility, and handle confidential information
  • Support branch with a courteous and positive attitude
  • Ability to take on additional duties as necessary
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Work efficiently in a high stress environment
  • Consistent previous work history
  • Ability to pass background check and drug test
  • Ability to work full time (Mon-Fri) and occasional overtime if needed
  • Available to begin work within 2 weeks of hire
The compensation for this position is hourly wage plus bonus and will depend on experience.
