Mortgage Processor (Luxury Mortgage Corp)

Luxury Mortgage Corp.® is seeking to hire a Mortgage Processor who will be responsible for processing loan files received from the Opening Department and preparing them for submission to the Underwriting Department while effectively communicating with involved parties such as Loan Originators, Account Executives, Underwriters, borrowers, real estate brokers and mortgage brokers. This position requires attention to detail, a high degree of organization, the ability to prioritize, teamwork and effective communication skills.
Education, Experience and Skills:
  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist Loan Originators with completing loan applications and follow- up with borrowers to collect required documentation
  • Maintain a high level of customer service by being proactive in communicating with borrowers, Loan Originators, Account Executives, real estate brokers and internal team members
  • Provide borrowers with timely and periodic status updates
  • Review loan application to verify the completeness of data and ensure the loan meets established standards of company program guidelines and procedures
  • Gather, analyze, and validate documents required for loan approval and submit to Underwriting
  • Request and gather loan conditions from appropriate parties
  • Manage the closing schedule and communicate with appropriate parties
  • Timely order and/or acquire (as appropriate) title, appraisals, CEMAs, VOEs, VOMs, VODs, Powers of Attorney, E&O policies and/or Closing Protection Letters and co-op documents
  • Request and review pay-off statements
  • Ensure benchmarks, productivity standards and service levels are delivered
