WHAT ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION?
  • Reviews and validates customer financial documents and loan conditions
  • Prepares and delivers appropriate loan disclosures and approval notices
  • Orders and reviews customer verifications and vendor orders
  • Provides general mortgage expertise to Residential Lending management, Mortgage Loan Services, and other State Farm departments

WHAT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ARE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION?
  • Experience in loan origination and sales
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with secondary market mortgage products and pricing, processing, underwriting requirements, closing and compliance regulation
  • Strong understanding of lending policies and practices, knowledge of acceptable loan documentation, and knowledge of product features and structure
  • In-depth knowledge of the mortgage industry
  • Hands on experience with banking/mortgage lending, mortgage underwriting, and/or training/teaching

  • Entry into this job family may require passing additional background checks
  • May be required to work overtime
  • May be required to attain and retain state licenses

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

2 PA4 Team Lead Positions; 18 PA2/3 positions available.

Starting Salary PA2 (External) - $34,758.75/year or $17.25/hour.
Mortgage experience preferred but not required.
Bilingual skills are a plus but not required. Successful applicants must pass a language proficiency assessment.
Applicant must be available for four week training session at start date.
18 Month Incumbency.
Must satisfy all requirements (background and licensing) to become and remain registered in good standing with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry ( "NMLS " or "The Registry) and meet all current guideline and or regulatory requirements maintained by Client.
Entry into a Bank position may require passing additional background checks including a credit check.
