Title Insurance Closing Processor/Closer (Attorneys Title Company of Henderson County)

Responsibilities/duties: All areas of responsibility listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position by any/all incumbents, with reasonable accommodation, if necessary. Any non-essential functions are assumed to be other related duties as assigned.
  • Looking for someone that can jump right in and start closing.
  • Maintains a professional image and adheres to standards consistent with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct "intro calls” to buyers, agents and closing company on all files
  • Address inquiries from clients, buyers, agents, and lenders professionally and in a timely manner
  • Respond to email and phone messages within 24 hours
  • Confirm closing dates with buyers and closing companies to help ensure on-time closings
  • Maintain open communication with team members
  • Gathers CPL, wire instructions, title fees, complete verbal employment verifications, request payoffs
  • Reviews title commitment and all documents in loan file that are needed for closing to ensure accuracy
  • Ensures loan packages meet compliance guidelines; fixing discrepancies as necessary.
  • Inputs and confirms data required to generate closing documents.
  • Generate, Review and Approve Closing Package.
  • Generates HUD1/Settlement Statements, CDs.
  • Balances figures, Releases wire and funds loan.
  • All other duties assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to multi-task in a detail oriented, fast paced environment
  • Ability to maintain positive behavior within a high paced, ever changing environment.
  • Escrow License is preferred but not required, able to obtain Escrow License within 30days of hire
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
  • Must be very customer oriented
  • Must have knowledge of the title and mortgage industry.
  • Prior experience in the real estate closing process
  • Represent professionally work ethic to internal and external clients.
  • Adhere to the departments attendance guidelines.
  • Possession of strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Extensive Excel knowledge.
  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Must have Three (3) years to five (5) years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to real estate
  • Pay is negotiated upon experiance
