Mortgage Loan Processor III (Enterprise Bank & Trust)

Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Responsible for processing mortgage loan applications for residential loan products offered including but not limited to: Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Mortgage Revenue Bond Programs and Portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as a liaison between borrower, underwriter, and loan originator.

Provide customer with timely and periodic status updates of their loan application.

Return all inquiry calls within one business day.

Knowledge of mortgage terminology.

Basic math skills (Calculation of Loan-To-Values, monthly income calculations etc)

Collect required documentation from applicants and follow up on missing items

Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, records, and/or other documents for internal reporting.

Compile documents for customer files and enter information into Loan Origination System for processing and validation.

Assure that all customer files are complete and in compliance with regulatory agencies and internal policies.

Ensure customer privacy, security of files and appropriate staff access.

Prepare commitment letter(s) and cancel files when necessary.

Maintain pipeline report and notify management of status as needed.

Process the documents received for each file, verifying the accuracy and completeness of each document.

Make recommendations for procedural changes to increase efficiency.

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree

3-5 years mortgage processing and/or closing experience beneficial but not required

Previous banking experience beneficial but not required

Knowledge of calculation methods for self-employment income per agency guidelines helpful

COMPUTER SKILLS

Skilled in operation of a personal computer and Microsoft Word and Excel
