Title Assistant I (AmeriTitle)

Under general supervision includes the following title responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Title Assistant I
  • Customer service, posting, courthouse recorder, order entry, production typing, and file preparation.
  • Performs various clerical duties as described above that conform to established work procedures.
  • Ability to follow specific instructions on assignments.
  • Will operate office machines such as copier, calculator, fax machine, reader/printer, or other similar equipment.
  • May complete deliveries.
  • May conduct inspections, posting, and locator duties
  • May conduct typist or escrow assistant duties.
  • Support and alignment with Company Core Values; service, integrity, teamwork, trust & respect, accountability and profitability.
  • Works overtime as required to meet the business needs.
  • Consistently works pre-established work schedule.
  • Participates in cross training to meet the business strategies.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Title Assistant I

    Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Experience:

    Entry level position. No previous work experience required. Ability to pass the appropriate assessment, where applicable.

    Skills:

    Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills. 50 wpm typing and basic computers skills may be necessary. Good verbal and written communication skills.

    Other:

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is required to lift up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally up to 25 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The work environment is stressful due to high customer service requirements (internal and external customers) along with consistent, and at times, constant deadlines, high work accuracy demands, and general work pressures.
