Title Specialist (Eco-Site)

The Title Specialist will be primarily responsible for organizing and coordinating the documentation associated with the Company's title work and policy issuance. Specifically, the Title Specialist will be tasked with ordering and reviewing title, preparing relevant documents, tracking milestones and due diligence periods, working with outside counsel in the various markets and obtaining title insurance.
This is a 25 hour per week position.
  • Preparation of title related documents – i.e. Owner's Affidavits, Easement Agreements, etc.
  • Ordering and review of title commitments
  • Tracking milestones
  • Review and communication regarding title related issues
  • Answer routine questions and provide internal and external support regarding title matters in a high volume environment
  • Obtain title policies
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned

  • Demonstrated experience in the title arena – i.e. title company or law firm experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large volume of simultaneous transactions & multi-task
  • Prior knowledge and experience in the real estate law or title underwriting preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently
  • College degree or equivalent work experience as a real estate paralegal or underwriter with a reputable title company
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in real estate or title industry
