To actively originate & produce commercial loans, consult with potential customers, and service loan portfolios of designated branch.

¿ Underwriting loans
¿ Interview potential customers and conduct phone inquiries for commercial loan
¿ Discuss and recommend the best WSB loan programs for borrower
¿ Review and request income and assets documents
¿ Assist in completing the application
¿ Review files in process daily
¿ Pull and review credit reports
¿ Train Assistant Underwriters and junior staff
¿ Order and review appraisal, title, environmental reports
¿ Collect and review all 3rd party documents (ex: escrow, appraisal insurance, etc.)
¿ Follow up conditions with managers and customers prior to submission
¿ Submit the file for a loan approval to Manager (s), SCM, CCO, CEO, MLC, and DLC
¿ Follow up all the prior to doc conditions
¿ Order loan documents through Note Department
¿ Communicate with borrowers, brokers, builders, appraisers, title officers, escrow officers, all agents, employees, etc.
¿ Package withdrawn declined loans for a second review by Senior Loan Department
¿ Generate an adverse action notice letter for declined loans and get a second review prior to mailing out
¿ Preparation for necessary reports
¿ Prepare monthly inventory reports
¿ Update progress reports all loans in designated worksheet and follow up pending conditions with branch managers
¿ Follow up on delinquency reports with branch managers
¿ Follow up with audit responses and exit meetings
¿ Update tickler reports
¿ Prepare a monthly loan performance report for department and bank
¿ Working knowledge on credit analysis on commercial credits
¿ Working knowledge on international banking operations
¿ General knowledge on branch banking operations
¿ Good inter-personal skills
