Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following is a summary of the essential job functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with all bank Regional Presidents.
2. Keep abreast of current trends and marketing conditions in the Title Insurance industry and banking footprint.
3. Develop and maintain a positive selling environment with our lending personnel through quality client service, quality training, management reporting and recognition.
4. Monthly review of penetration reports by region for monitoring capture rates.
5. Develop and implement comprehensive plan to meet stated objectives. Track and document performance against goal.
6. Contact key sales targets such as BB&T Loan Management, Commercial, Small Business, Mortgage and Retail Loan Officers, Loan support staff, existing and potential attorney clients, and other potential customers.
7. Educate, inform and encourage use of BB&T Title's products and services.
8. Provide performance feedback to Agencies regarding servicing and production for specific markets and the entire banking footprint.
9. Coordinate marketing effort with Agency Managers and support staff.
10. Serve as a liaison between internal and external customers and the Agency to provide feedback in an effort to maintain high levels of customer service.
Required Skills and Competencies:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training
2. Eight or more years of insurance industry experience
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills
4. Strong presentation skills
5. Computer skills
6. Team oriented
7. Able to travel as required
8. Title Insurance License (or achieve status within 6 months of hire date)
9. Working knowledge of title insurance products, services and pricing structures
10. Comprehensive understanding of banking network and services
Desired Skills and Competencies:
1. Strong understanding of the Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) Process
