  • 1. High School diploma or equivalent required, BA preferred
  • 2. Minimum of 2 Years experience in a customer service industry, financial services preferred

The role requires compliance with all regulations including those specifically associated with the function/duties of a Loan Originator, in accordance with Dodd Frank (and/or other) regulatory requirements.

This role acts as the primary point of customer contact throughout the mortgage application process, from loan application submission to loan closing. This individual review and process assigned loans to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with Investor and Key Bank/First Niagara guidelines, as well as regulator compliance.
Key Responsibilities -
  • 1. Consistent customer interaction at designated milestones throughout the process, as well as established intervals
  • 2. Interact with internal partners and external parties to obtain required processing related documentation to enable the Mortgage Underwriter to render a loan decision
  • 3. Collection of all documentation required as part of the loan commitment and submission of same to Mortgage Underwriter for review and acceptance
  • 4. Effectively manage to all interest rate and document expirations to limit financial exposure to the business or customer
  • 5. Ensure customer satisfaction, quality and productivity at or above minimum business standards
  • 6. Maintain compliance with all relevant and applicable internal and external rules, regulations, and polices that govern this position. Operate in a manner that is in strict alignment to FNFG's Code of Ethics policy.
