Mortgage Loan Processor (Florida Central Credit Union)

To assist members with their loan applications; processes and submits files to appropriate mortgage
company.

Handles mailing of verification forms and obtains the required documentation to support the applications.
Reviews residential loan application files to verify that application data is complete.
Calls specified companies to obtain property abstract, survey, and appraisal; informs supervisor of discrepancies in title or survey.
Prepares and mails approval and denial letters to applicants.
Records data on status of loans, including number of new applications and loans approved, canceled, or denied.
Performs other related duties as assigned

Organize and complete member loan files.
Cross sell credit union products and services.
Maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and co-workers.
Develop sales and service skills necessary to cross sell products/services to our members.
Every credit union employee hired is responsible for understanding and complying with the Bank
Secrecy Act. The initial training is done at hire with a signed new employee training confirmation
on the Bank Secrecy Act to be filed in the employee's personnel file and will be included in al
subsequent performance evaluations.


Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
Education A high school education or GED.
A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and
tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a
personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others.
Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities
(companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.
Interpersonal Skills
Must have good communication skills. Ten key calculator, typewriter and keyboard skills.
