Jr Mortgage Processor (The Mortgage Firm)

Location: Port Orange, Florida
Immediate need for full-time Jr. Processor with Conv/FHA/VA processing experience.
Jr. Processor will interpret data that supports mortgage loan requests such as automatic underwriting findings, credit reports, income and assets documentation, appraisals and other requirements.
Will need to manage a pipeline of loans and be responsible for the process to closing. Must be capable of supporting our team and clients.
Essential Functions
  • Perform daily proactive pipeline management.
  • Maintain a pipeline of loans and all activities involved with those loans.
  • Deliver clean, complete and accurate files to both underwriting and closing.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, customers, and affiliates
  • Perform related duties as requested.
  • Get all conditions from Client
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Coordinates closings and fee sheets
  • Reviews residential loan application file to verify that the application data is complete and meets establishment standards, including type and amount of mortgage, borrower assets, liabilities, and length of employment.
  • Responsible for the developing and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of FHA, VA and Conventional guidelines, rules and regulations pertaining to generating an acceptable mortgage loan
  • Follows regulatory requirements by protecting information for privacy and confidentiality; displaying discretion in discussing customer information; obtaining proper information and paperwork to complete transactions; following company policies and regulations.
Job Requirements
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • BA/BS degree or successful completion of military service preferred.
Experience
  • Two (2) or more years of mortgage processing. Processing experience must be within 12 months of application date
  • One (1) or more years of experience in FHA, VA, DU, and LP strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of a loan package, guidelines and required documentation
  • TRID Knowledge
  • FHA and VA knowledge is a must
  • Proactive, independent self-starter
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and able to communicate clearly with clients and affiliates
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Scheduling and shared calendars
  • Proficient in: MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, DU, LP
  • Encompass experience a plus
