Title Alliance Ltd. specializes in the creation and management of RESPA compliant title joint ventures in the real estate industry. Since 1983 we have formed over 75 joint ventures in Arizona, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, New York, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio and Michigan.
Title Alliance is currently searching for an experienced Closer/Title Settlement Officer for an immediate opening in Broomall, PA.
Candidate must have high energy, knowledge of the industry, and excellent customer service skills.
Closers/Title Settlement Officers are responsible for, pre-closing, coordinating with lenders, preparing closing statements, scheduling and conducting the closing, issuing title policies, preparation and recording of documents and making appropriate disbursements associated with the settlement process.
Responsibilities include:
  • Review and clear title;
  • Identify underwriting concerns;
  • Prepare the Closing Disclosure, ALTA Settlement Statement and HUD-1 when applicable;
  • Order bring downs and tax certifications;
  • Obtain conveyancing;
  • Prepare daily deposits;
  • Process incoming and outgoing recordings and letters of indemnity;
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications:
-Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have 2+ years title specific experience
-Title industry software knowledge, RamQuest preferred
-Title Officer License is required or ability to obtain within 90 days
-Notary or ability to obtain within 90 days
-Must be a quick learner, able to adapt easily to fast-paced, high volume environment
-Above average people skills with strong customer support orientation is necessary
-Ability to multi-task effectively, particularly in stressful situations
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Intermediate level MS Office
