Responsible for actively participating in the Bank's salesand business development program to cultivate new mortgage business and build relationships with customers,realtors, builders, communities and civic organizations. Work with othermembers of the sales/service team in striving to increase sales opportunities.
Meets withprospective customers to ascertain banking needs and analyze financialinformation. Develop and present mortgageproduct recommendations based on customers¿ needs and financialcircumstances. Completes loanapplications and coordinates the loan process, loan approval along with issuing required disclosures. Attend loan closings and ensures loandocumentation is completed in accordance with regulatory compliance.
Education/Training: A B.S. orB.A. degree in a business-related field preferred. Position requires incumbent to be registeredwith the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry.
Skill(s): Maintain a currentknowledge of laws and regulations which impact mortgage banking services. Proven ability to develop referral sourcesfrom internal and external contacts and relationships. P roficient reading, writing, grammar,and mathematics skills along with proficient interpersonal relations, communicative,and sales skills. A working knowledge ofbank operating policies and procedures which impact mortgage loan services. A thorough knowledge of the features andbenefits of all bank mortgage loan products and services. A bilityto sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift items weighing 20 lbs. or less; visual , auditory and speaking skills. V alid driver¿s licenseand travel is required.
Experience: A minimumof two (2) years' experience in related positions normally required.
