Position Summary:
The Processing Partner will assist origination team with new and existing clients in the mortgage and real estate industry. The purpose of this position is to work with clients to collect and verify employment and financial data to process mortgage loan applications.
Responsibilities:
  • Contacts applicants by telephone, e-mail, or in-person meetings to gather financial information, including employment situation, salary, assets, financial status, current debts and current expenses
  • Processes all mortgage requests within established guidelines for different mortgage loan programs, policies and procedures.
  • Initiates compliance and verification checklists
  • Ensures receipt of required documentation from members, vendors, and other related sources.
  • Verifies regulatory and investor requirements.
  • Ensures all documentation received meets investor guidelines.
  • Communicates and follows up timely and throughout the loan transaction
  • Prepares all necessary loan documentation and coordinates with Title Company.
  • Understanding of loan underwriting guidelines
  • Handling phone calls and correspondence from clients with questions or concerns regarding their mortgage and providing timely and accurate resolutions.
  • Maintaining a high standard of customer care while actively listening to customers in an effort to understand their views and needs.

Skills Required:
o Current mortgage loan processing experience (3 years minimum)
o General mortgage loan underwriting knowledge
o Fantastic communication & people skills
o Excellent organizational & Time Management skills
o Work well with teams and systems
o Work experience with Encompass (2 years preferred)
o Working knowledge of Excel, Word
o Attention to detail with accuracy and consistency
o Strong ability to set priorities, solve problems and be resourceful
