Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant (Access National Mortgage)

This individual will be a self-starter, an efficient multi-tasker, great with people, and have a positive attitude. The ideal candidate may currently/formerly be a loan officer or a processor who is either tired of the grind from having to generate their own business, or can no longer afford to run the hamster wheel of lead generation.
This candidate must be knowledgeable in pulling & analyzing credit, review income & asset documents, have an understanding of how to structure a loan, have a general knowledge of Client, FHA, VA, USDA guidelines, run DU, stack & submit files, request & clear conditions and communicate incredibly with both borrowers and Realtors. Being adaptable and efficient is very important for this position. Organizational skills are essential for success in this position along with the ability to follow-up efficiently and keep track of your progress in a logical and organized manner. Attention to detail should be a natural skill of yours and handling multiple tasks in a fast paced environment should be something you thrive on.
We are looking for a genuine team player who is excellent in communicating professionally with clients and is a steel-trap with following-through on tasks and assignments. You should be able to learn new skills and information needed to adapt to the ever-changing mortgage industry and have a self-motivated ability to "figure things out " along the way.
What You Will Be Doing Function
as the primary contact and liaison between clients, Branch Manager, Sales Manager and/or assigned Loan Originators.Responsible for taking applications over the phone and scheduling appointments..Responsible for scheduling realtor appointments for the assigned Loan Originators.Responsible for submitting complete loan applications for each customer file.Track all requested documents Review documentation received within 24 hours of receipt for discrepancies, omitted data, verified income calculation, asset verification and Immediately notify Loan Originators when any discrepancies are found on documentation.Partner with Loan Originators in resolving problems on files/documents.Ensure files are complete and set-up in accordance with CCM policy and procedures.Attend all Branch/team meetings.Any other duties as assigned.
What You Need for this Position
At Least 1 Years of experience and knowledge of: - Loan Conditions- Customer Service- Mortgage AssistantNMLS License highly desired.1 years of conventional fixed mortgage loan processing or origination required.Extensive knowledge (and previous experience) of VA and FHA products.Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Prior experience on Encompass LOS system or other mortgage processing software, DU, LP and other automated engine submissionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize and meet deadlines.Available to work varying hours and overtime if needed.
