Title and Escrow Officer (Lennar)

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work to define process from order open to completion of post-closing
  • Assist in the setup of a title and escrow production system
  • Order searches, perform examination, and determine insurability, and prepare final policy
  • Determine escrow requirements by reviewing and clarifying with buyer, seller, real estate agent, and lender
  • Work closely with clients to accomplish a closed transaction in a timely, efficient, and error-free manner
  • Prepare Closing Disclosure documents in accordance with the lender's guidelines
  • Obtain clearance and approval from lenders
  • Order updates from the underwriter and determine clearance to close
  • Other relevant duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed title agent required
  • Florida Resident Title Agent license required
  • Minimum High School Diploma. Business Degree highly desirable
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish highly desirable
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent cognitive reasoning, analytical, planning, and process development skills, strong business judgment and high level of initiative desired
  • Demonstrated attitude of ownership and enthusiasm for embracing new ideas
  • Ability to be creative and self-sufficient
  • Deep understanding of entire title and escrow process
  • Satisfactory driving record required

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Associate to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Driving is required. Finger dexterity is necessary.
