Job Description First American Title Insurance Company is currently seeking a detail oriented Sr. Commercial Escrow Officer who is flexible in scheduling for its Atlanta, GA office. The ideal candidate will have the ability to prioritize and handle stressful situations as well as be comfortable working in a high volume/fast paced environment. Must have the ability to travel throughout the state.

The Sr. Commercial Escrow Officer will be responsible for:
• Establishing new commercial escrow accounts, developing escrow documents, and disbursing commercial transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Maintaining escrow records and files and acts as escrow agent.
• Responsible for managing a portfolio of assigned escrow customers. Provides high level of customer service and develops ongoing escrow referrals from existing escrow customers.
• Maintaining records in the escrow accounting system and customer database.
• Opening escrow transactions; develops and/or obtains the appropriate escrow documentation in accordance with policy and procedures and applicable statutory and Federal regulations.
• Managing assigned escrow customers as their relationship manager; provides customer service and develops ongoing escrow referrals for transactions.
• Reviewing and understanding commercial contracts and escrow agreements
• Reviewing escrow reports against escrow records to ensure accuracy of posted escrow transactions.
• Making commercial disbursements from settlement statements provided by agent.
• Preparing commercial settlement statement upon request.
• Reviewing, accepting and assembling closing documents.
• Assisting other Escrow Officers as needed.
Job Qualifications A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
• 8+ years of commercial closing experience
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Must have great attention to detail
• Customer service training preferred
• Ability to travel throughout state
• Proficient in MS Office
• Working knowledge of FAST preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Must have valid driver's license
% of Travel Required <10%
