Private Bank Mortgage Operations team supports the SVB Mortgage Origination team. Silicon Private Bank provides financial solutions for many entrepreneurs in the Tech, Innovation and Biomedical industries. The Mortgage Processor II's role and responsibilities will include:

• Gather documents, clear outstanding conditions and prep and submit files to closing.
• Management of individual pipeline to ensure that all regulatory and compliance requirements have been met in the appropriate time frames.
• Meet production and quality standards as established by line of business.
• Provide support for mortgage lending unit.
• Understand compliance and regulatory guidelines as well as federal and state specific policies.
• Strong understanding of mortgage documents and origination process.
• Be able to review and rectify title reports, appraisals, credit reports and insurance documents.
• Have knowledge of trust and entity documents and be able to work with Legal and Paralegal departments to obtain documents needed for file documentation.
• Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to handle increased workload.
• Ability to work with senior peers and management on complicated files and complex scenarios.
• Ability to work with various systems and be able to multi-task.
• 2+ years Mortgage Processing Experience
• Pipeline management. Mortgage Processors are expected to multi-task. As such, maintaining several files at once with accuracy and speed is key.
• Accurate ordering of the appropriate appraisal, title work, and/or mortgage loan verification in order to ensure the loan is processed efficiently, effectively, and correctly.

Skills and Requirements:
Mortgage Processing experience
Minimum 2 years previous, related experience
Working knowledge of Regulations & Compliance
Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Professional demeanor
Excellent communication skills
Experience with MS Office
High school diploma required, Bachelors degree preferred
