Job Description
We looking for experienced loan processors to join our staff. Our ideal candidate for this position should have an in-depth knowledge of underwriting guidelines, mortgage lending policies and procedures, and a deep understanding of how to structure loans.
Job Requirements
Process FHA, Conventional, and Non-Conforming loans
• Ensure integrity of all data and process inputs
• Manage pipeline of loans within required performance standards for pre-approval, approval, and status calls
• Prepare and submit loans to underwriting for conditional review and full approval upon receipt of title or appraisal
• Review loan scenarios with Loan Officers before submission to underwriting to ensure accuracy and compliance with Investor, Agency and Company guidelines
• Maintain positive and open communication with Loan Officers, Underwriters, Funders.
• Interact and follow up with title/escrow, borrowers, Loan Officers for requested documentation
• Coordinate the loan process with realtors, builders, settlement agents, insurance agents, clients and support staff
• All other duties as assigned by management in accordance with company policies and State/Federal guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Possess a thorough understanding of various product/ program guidelines, necessary conditions for approval, and investor specific guidelines for Client (DU)/ Freddie Mac (LP), FHA, VA and USDA
• Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills along with strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to calculate income, calculate rental income, and review/analyze tax returns
• Knowledge and understanding of Client, Freddie Mac, FHA, USDA, and VA loans program guidelines
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Must be reliable, detail oriented, and motivated
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
• 2+ years of recent loan processing experience with a correspondent lender preferred
