We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Healthcare account team in the Los Angeles CA area. Reporting to the Regional Director/Account Lead or Team Lead/Vice President the successful incumbent works as part of the Project Team. The Project Manager will, assist with the development of scope and schedule for project work while providing superior client service. The working environment is a medium sized acute care hospital in the Bakersfield CA area. The role's key local client interface will be the Sr. Vice President of Ambulatory Services. The role does not have any directly reporting employees and is partially supported by an onsite Project Coordinator. Most projects take place on the main campus, though some projects will take place at offsite clinics in the area.

Support Account Director and Regional Directors on large complex project planning and assignments.
Proactively manage project-related issues on account or assignment.
Develop scope and schedule for assigned projects.
Conduct and document all weekly meetings.
Coordinate and track all Vendor RFP's. Maintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation.
Coordinate activities of sub-contractors and relocation of technical functions.
Interact and negotiate with contractors and subcontractors
Prepare/update project status reports, process purchase orders and invoices, update tracking reports and maintain files for due diligence and financials.
Comply with all Jones Lang LaSalle policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice

Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management strongly preferred
5-7 years of practical experience in an Acute Healthcare environment Strong understanding of healthcare design and construction management
Significant experience building in an occupied hospital and operating campus
Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner. Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all Project Development Services (PDS) technologies as required for assigned projects (OneView Projects, OneView Financials).
Understanding of technical requirements for a business relocation
Familiarity with architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts a plus
Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed
2-3 years of practical experience in a project administration / accounting position required
Experience in construction management or real estate preferred
Highly organized with strong analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients
Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented
Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
