Closing Desk Coordinator (Insignia National Title Agency)

Job Description:
The Closing Desk Coordinator will work with processing team to prepare files for closing, as well as coordinate closings with outside Title Closers, Attorneys, and Clients. Position is responsible for handling large volumes of files; both residential and commercial transactions. A high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are essential for success in this position.

• Prepare both Owner and Loan Policies.
• Prepare title invoices
• Order Tax and Title Continuations
• Schedule Title Closers
• Manage closing calendar
• Processing post closing packages and scanning into system
• NY ACRIS system as needed
• Miscellaneous items as needed to successfully run closing desk

Specific Job Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years experience with Closing Desk and preparation of owner/loan policies
• Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Excel, Outlook, Web, Tracker Pro Title Software)
• Ability to communicate and work with processing team and management
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient data entry/computer skills
• Ability to multi-task and high attention to detail
• Highly self-motivated and constantly driving for improvement
• Confident, hardworking and professional
• Notary Public a plus, but not required

• Minimum prior closing desk experience of 3 years required for this position. Please do not apply without this experience.
• Able to commute to Midtown Manhattan – Monday-Friday
