Enterprise Security Administrator

Must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident. Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Telesis has an immediate need for an Enterprise Security Administrator with excellent proactive skills, to join an established Operation and Support team. The mission of this group is to provide 24x7x365 operational and administrative support for a government Civilian Agency client, and to manage all incoming and outgoing support requests related to the network and business infrastructure to protect data center systems from access, disruption, modification, disclosure, or destruction by unauthorized personnel.

Job Responsibilities:
Recommends and provides oversight of the necessary controls and procedures to protect data center systems from access, disruption, modification, disclosure, or destruction by unauthorized personnel.
Provides guidance and direction for the physical protection of system assets to the client Business Owners and OIM staff.
Provides reports to users regarding effectiveness, threats, and failures of data security and makes recommendations for new or changes to existing procedures to improve security.
Oversees security audits to determine compliance with security policy.

Skills Required:
  • SoC Experience Required 5+ Years
  • General IT Experience 10+ Years Preferred
  • Experience with a variety of operating systems including Windows, Linux or UNIX in a functional capacity
  • Zenoss, Splunk, McAfee Nitro, and RSA Secure Analytics experience preferred (or equivalent application)
  • CSIS, CEH, CSTA, CSTP, GCFE, CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, or GPEN preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must be able to communicate technical details clearly
  • Well known protocols and services (FTP, HTTP, SSH, SMB,DAP)preferred
  • Keen understanding of routing principles and networking fundamentals - Packet Analysis Tools (TCPDUMP, Wireshark, Ngrep) preferred
  • Experience leading and directing security incident response
