Enterprise Infrastructure Project Manager II

Planning & Project Management
  • Completes projects on time, within scope, and on budget.  Leads project governance, quality management, and project management services that meet or exceed customers' expectations
  • Design and implement short- and long-term plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements including disaster recovery and security requirements.
  • Develop, implement, maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for infrastructure administration and project management.
  • Conduct research and make recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards in support of all infrastructure procurement and development efforts.
Operational Project Management
  • Manage and set priorities for the design, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure systems, including LAN, WAN, POTS, Internet, intranet, security, wired and wireless implementations.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for various upgrade projects and improvements.
  • Test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining network infrastructure.
  • Test server performance and provide network performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining server infrastructure.
  • Manage vendor services to ensure work is of a high quality and documented.
Acquisition & Deployment
  • Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, and other documentation for infrastructure projects and associated efforts.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred, OR equivalent work, training and educational experience.
  • Five years of experience delivering infrastructure design and operational excellence.
  • Strong experience with at least three of the following areas: Network, Storage, Virtualization, Network Security, and Active Directory.  Versed in networking technologies including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, content filtering, network monitoring and asset management. 
  • Application support experience with Microsoft applications including AD, Exchange, SharePoint, Office, SCCM, etc.
  • Project management certification preferred.
  • Professional certification in network technologies, security preferred.
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading technology upgrades projects across multiple geographical locations.
  • May require travel both inside and outside Florida.
  • May require need for occasional weekend or evening work.
