Senior Director of Enterprise Data Integration

  • Leads all project-related architecture design, development, and deployment of world-class enterprise-level data solutions.
  • Develops organizational objectives aligned to the business strategy and goals.
  • Provides direction for diverse and complex initiatives; accountable for a variety of tasks to architect and deliver data warehousing solutions that meet content, usability, accuracy, reliability and performance expectations.
  • Oversees development of End to End ETL data integration and solution architecture.
  • Oversees the planning and designing of software products to ensure adherence to deadlines, specifications, and budgets.
  • Implements performance metrics and prepares reports indicating team effectiveness.
  • Develops tools that measure and report adherence to customer defined SLAs.
  • Ensures teammates keep current with technological developments within the industry.
  • Maintain and improve company software development practices and standards.
  • Participate, successfully, in the training programs offered to increase the individual's skill and proficiency related to the assignments.
  • Review current developments, literature and technical sources of information related to job responsibility.
  • Ensure adherence to good safety practices.

  • Undergraduate degree in computer science or closely related major; advanced degree in technical discipline and/or management preferred.
  • At least two years of experience managing teams of technologists in a development environment.
  • Five years of experience with data integration, data warehousing, solution architecture and/or ETL Architecture using well recognized platforms (Linux, Informatica, Teradata, SQL, Hadoop Hive, etc.).
  • Eight years of experiencing in programming in any of the following technologies and opinions on how to use them properly: C/++/#, Java, Scala, PHP, Ruby on Rails, Python or any other scripting language (preferably Python).
  • Strong knowledge of complete SDLC and experience with continuous integration, test-driven/behavior-driven development, and agile, scrum development methodologies.
  • Experience collaborating and partner with technical and business team to present, define, strategies, requirement, road-map, budget, solution.
  • Experience presenting strategies, road-map and gap analysis, for technology and business
  • Extensive experience working in an Agile development methodology.
  • Strong professional experience with Javascript MVC frameworks (e.g., Angular JS, Backbone, etc.).
  • Experience with relational and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB, CouchDB, Cassandra, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) data stores.
  • Experience working across multiple solution architect, business partner and program and project to harmonize, data platform, process, integration, data asset within Comcast.
  • Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries.
  • Familiarity with web frameworks, preferably Django-Python
  • Strong understanding of server-side templating languages
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as AngularJS, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
  • Well versed in user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  • Strong background in data structures and algorithms and computer science fundamentals.
  • Build the solution construct in Cloud environment and assist with any migration elements
  • Experience with cross-browser support for the latest browsers (but also IE9).
  • Knowledgeable about current best practices with JavaScript/CSS including ES6.
