Day to Day job Duties:

Will be expected to execute the project independently with modest interaction from broader IT organization. Therefore, must have demonstrated knowledge on how to build and execute detailed task lists, provide status, plan data conversions, training, and cutover for the entire project. Demonstrated capability to manage and direct the activity of a small project team of full time resources both client and other consulting team plus many part-time resources from plant accountants, to IT support functions, to business executives. Ability to drive to deadlines and provide fact based decision making criteria on issues impacting budget and timeline Understating of how to guide the client through complex decisions related to Material Ledger deployment

Required skills:
  • 10+ years of SAP CO/Material Ledger experience
  • Multiple implementations of SAP's Material Ledger including in a live ECC 6.0 environment
  • Deep SAP product costing and Material Ledger experience
  • Actual costing and standard costing
  • Actual inventory valuation COGS revaluation
  • Expert in the integration between Material Ledger and Costing Based CO-PA
  • Account determination SAP Production execution
  • Ability to prototype and test independently (i.e. capable of executing purchasing, production planning, goods moments, invoicing, production execution, sales, billing, product costing, activity rate setting, etc.) transactions within an SAP environment
  • Data conversion Landscape architecture
  • Would expect many years of SAP CO experience, in addition to Knowledge and capability to communicate the technical requirements of Material Ledger

Ability to train others in the strategic, tactical, and end user functions of Material Ledger Capability to take the complex functionality of Material Ledger and explain it to IT and business team members in an understandable and actionable manner.

Desired skills: Travel Requirements: 80 to 90% weekly travel to client location in Chicago, IL. Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
