Company is a successful, large volume, growing restaurant company now opening a new Restaurant in Los Angeles. We are seeking a solid high performing Executive Chef. This is an excellent long-term career opportunity to work for a well-known expanding restaurant company. The successful candidate will be highly experienced with self-standing restaurants and have advanced culinary knowledge. This position reports into the Corporate Chef and has 5 direct reports.
• Opening experience is an asset including hiring and training staff.
• High attention to quality both in ingredients and final presentation.
• Ability to manage a large team.
• Strong financial background on food cost, labor cost etc.
• Experience with southern cooking, farm to table or fine dining.
• High energy and very good stamina.
• Excellent communication skills and strong business acumen.

Required experience:
Bachelor's degree, culinary degree
5 years experience as an Executive Chef.
Show and motivate employees through effective communication.
Lead by example, works well in a team and able to lead without conflict.
Coaching and counseling skills.
Maintain computer proficiency including ability to use Microsoft Office Programs, as well as industry specific software including POS and Accounting.
Team player and problem resolution skills.
Must be certified in food protection.
