Job Requirement
Minimum of 10 years' experience in delivering infrastructure projects, along with a minimum of 5+ years as a technical lead
• Demonstrating leadership skills and possessing a track record of managing the delivery of technical work via infrastructure support staff (e.g. network engineer, storage or server admin)
• Financial resources through various life-cycle phases (cross-functional experience highly desirable)
• Strong project management skills, with experience in organizing, planning, and executing large scale projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors
• Strong technical knowledge with hands-on experience, managing infrastructure lifecycle and capacity upgrades
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment
 
Technical Skills
• Experience with server, storage, database, backup, network, facilities, voice/telecom technology rollout/projects
• Must have a technical background and be capable of managing technical resources through design, implementation (build, install, configure, test), and transition to operations activities of a project.
 
Unique Skills
• Experience in highly parallel work environments with projects utilizing iterative and agile approaches to achieve their objectives
• Experience managing MS Project schedules including resource management and use of project SharePoint
• Experience estimating and facilitating creation of IT Bill of Materials
• Experience with the purchase of IT goods and services leveraging a corporate purchasing department
