Banking & Treasury

The following is the job description of the Banking and Treasury role that we were talking about :

Candidate should have 6 to 10 years of total experience in SAP FI
Minimum 5 years of experience in Banking /Bank Communication Management /Cash management
Minimum 3 years of experience in implementing the Treasury module
Minimum 3 full life cycle implementations experience in Banking/Treasury
Good understanding of AP/AR/GL areas of FI
Basic knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA Finance
Checklist for Baton Rouge Candidate Screening
For all candidates:
  • Confirm candidate is willing to do 6 months contract to hire or direct hire at the decision of IBM.
  • Are they familiar with and willing to relocate to Baton Rouge?
  • Candidate must relocate or travel to be on-site weekly at their own expense.
  • Verify communication skills are Articulate, Americanized and Passable.
  • Travel to end client may be up to 50%, are they willing to travel?  Travel expenses to end client will be paid.
  • Pay rate/ bill rate must be set at time of submittal and will not be changed (no negotiations post submittal).
  • Do they have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation?  Public transportation is sparse in Baton Rouge.
  • If they receive an offer will they have to give a notice and how long will it take to relocate?
Additional information:
  • No H4 EAD's are accepted.  -  The problem with H4 EAD is the dependency on the spouse's H1B which we have no control over.  If we hired the candidate and the spouse lost his H1B (expired, not renewed...etc.) their EAD would vanish and we would not be able to employ them  There may be less risk if the spouse is in the Green Card process, but should that process be terminated and he not have a valid H1B , the candidate's EAD would expire.  As a rule IBM tries to avoid situation in which an employee's work ability is dictated entirely by a third party.
  • No OPT/CPT - As the H1B approval depends on the Lottery system and there is no guarantee that they would be picked.
