Job Description:
The position is responsible for all aspects of financial management, financial control, accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of assigned hotels and corporate office parks. The Director of Finance responsibilities include, but are not limited to, timely, responsive and accurate completion of the following duties.
  • Understanding and compliance with all corporate, partnership, debt and other contractual documents for all assigned entities
  • Timely review of monthly financial statements for assigned hotel properties and related entities including corporate consolidation and reporting of assigned hotel properties and ownership entities
  • Management of debt, construction and other financing and capital transactions
  • Review and approval of monthly bank reconciliations and G/L reconciliations for assigned hotel properties and corporate entities
  • Review, approval and processing of disbursements
  • Involvement with insurance and property tax administration of assigned hotel properties
  • Successful completion of external financial audits, including coordination of work with CPA firms and delivering information requested by auditors on a timely basis
  • Preparation of any special reports, statements, etc., as requested
  • Other special projects and responsibilities as requested

The primary function of the Finance Director will be to oversee the financial systems (corporate parks and hotels). The successful candidate by team work.

A hands-on individual who will directly manage the accounting and financial reporting for the company. This individual must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Responsible for the timely preparation of all accounting and financial functions such as annual budgets, tax filing, financial statements and status of cash flow.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for A/P, A/R, Income Audit, General Cashier and Payroll
Responsible for monthly and annual P&L and financial reports and variances
Maintain account reconciliations
Manage and comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Review integrity, accuracy and efficiency of the accounting systems and procedures on an on-going basis

Required Education and Experience
  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  2. Ten years of hands-on accounting managerial experience.
  3. Hospitality experience is required.
