Cognitive Application Tester
The client CIO is looking for a talented Cognitive Tester to join our Support IBM Cognitive Team to help in implementing a Watson virtual chat agent that will transform the IT Support experience for every IBM user. This leading edge solution will be integrated into the Help@IBM internal support process. You will collaborate with products owners, product SME's, content authors, backend developers, front-end developers across other teams to test the Cognitive solution for the Support@IBM team. You will test the functionality of the end to end system, using manual and automated software application testing approaches.

• Identify and define testing requirements for the solution
• Identify appropriate functional and performance testing tools
• Perform test case development to ensure appropriate test coverage of the solution
• Perform functional test automation
• Perform performance test automation
• Implement the functional and performance testing for the solution
• Test environment management
• Assume responsibility for master test plan
• Document issues discovered through testing and validate the correct implementation of resolutions

• Understands the concept of using tests to document requirements and drive development
• Experience in an agile development project
• Experience in 1 or more functional testing tools such as : Protractor, Jasmine, Selenium
• Experience in 1 or more performance testing tools such as : Robot Framework, Loadrunner, Jmeter
• Embraces change, collaborates well with both technical and business people

• Previous experience as a Cognitive Tester is preferred
• Experience using one or more testing methodologies
• Experience with the MS Excel
• DevOps experience to incorporate testing steps into the continuous integration and continuous delivery cycle
• Experience with testing telephony solutions
• Familiarity with chat bots or end user support applications
