Business Analyst -Senior

Contract Duration : 1 Year +2 Year Possible Extension
  1. Demonstrated experience at a senior level (min. 8 Years or more ) in business analysis methods and practices with experience in developing business and technical requirements and managing them throughout the project lifecycle.
  2. Demonstrated experience at a senior level on large complex projects, including Enterprise projects that involved implementing major organizational changes to business systems and processes, including implementing governance processes.
  3. Demonstrated ability to analyze, synthesize, document, and communicate business information into technical specifications as well as simplify complex technical information into business language.
  4. Demonstrated experience in Organizational Change Management using an accepted methodology.
  5. Demonstrated ability to prepare project documents including, but not limited to: process and workflow models, business/technical requirements, traceability matrices, business cases and proposals, feasibility studies, gap analysis.
  6. Demonstrated experience in facilitation (facilitating and conducting business process mapping workshops, requirements gathering and elicitation, interviews and meetings) and creating and giving presentations, mindful of the impact of organizational change, with both ministry staff and external third parties.
  7. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with proven experience working and communicating effectively (both orally and written) with all levels within an organization, and understanding business priorities.
  8. Demonstrated leadership capability with an emphasis on demonstrating active listening skills and participation in and chairing of meetings with internal and external stakeholders and teams, including 3rd party vendors.
  9. Demonstrated ability to create, plan, manage, and execute test strategies, plans, and cases to support business process and software development quality assurance.
  10. Experience working with and knowledge of ITSM processes and ITIL best practices.
  11. ProSci Change Management certification is considered an asset.
  12. Experience as a Project Manager is considered an asset.
  13. Experience working in the public sector is considered an asset.
  14. Familiarity with the Government of Saskatchewan technical and business landscape is considered an asset.
