The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position, but are not intended to be all-inclusive:
  • Ability to formulate a solid test approach/strategy using a variety of sources ranging from well documented requirements specifications to loosely defined requirements.
  • Determine test environment and test data requirements.
  • Develop test plans and cases based on various levels of requirements details.
  • Estimate effort required to perform QA activities. Experience in breaking tasks down, estimating timelines, and delivering quality results on time.
  • Document and elevate risks when appropriate.
  • Mine for data, backend validation, and perform data quality analysis via SQL.
  • Must be able to communicate with leads and business users regarding project readiness, status and potential risks.
  • Collaborates with developers on defects resolution.
  • Good consulting skills; can effectively interact with business users during project team meeting via WebEx to gather and clarify business requirements
  • Create and execute test cases following agreed-upon processes in Quality Center.
  • Ability to analyze root cause of a problem and demonstrate good sense when handing the problem over to development.
  • Tracks defects in Quality Center to ensure appropriate management and escalation of defects.
  • Coordinate defect resolution and retesting.
  • Assist the QA Lead in the creation of test project status reports and metrics.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and personal/interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Enthusiastically collaborates with business partners to ensure Client Mission and Core Values are fulfilled.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 4-5 years of software quality assurance and software testing experience.
  • Proven data analysis, data verification and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to 'Enterprise solution project-based work structures.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Strong analytical skills. Assimilates information quickly, communicates complex requirements and issues clearly and concisely.
  • Track record of taking the initiative and producing results with limited supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, as well as independently. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced dynamic team-based environment.
  • Ability to complete assigned responsibilities independently in a given timeframe with minimal managerial and technical support
  • Hands on working knowledge of databases and SQL is a must and ability to write complex SQL queries.
  • Working experience in SSO (PingFederate), OAM (Oracle Access Manager) and LDAP is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of various QA tools, such as Jira or Client ALM, along with Agile Scrum is a plus.
  • Hands on Experience with any automated test tools is required, experience with Selenium is plus

  • Bachelor's degree in business or computer science or equivalent experience.
