Duration: 6 Months Contract (potential to go PERM)

Duties:
  • Working with the IT Infrastructure - Infrastructure Services team, the Systems Administrator – Active Directory role focuses on managing and administering Active Directory in an enterprise environment. The Systems Administrator will directly contribute to the implementation, support, administration and management of Active Directory and its associated functions throughout the enterprise.
  • Overall implementation and management of Active Directory, including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Objects, certificate management, object permissions and provisioning, and security event management.
  • Work closely with various technology teams and provide technical expertise to guide them on integrating with Active Directory-based products.
  • Engage with various technology teams as needed to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Hold technical and business related discussions with stakeholders from various parts of the business. Use information gathered to develop and maintain an environment that addresses needs of the business using infrastructure solutions.
  • Participate in IT projects and programs, both independently and with other infrastructure project teams.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills
Required:
  • Enterprise-scale experience in Active Directory environments
  • Knowledge of Active Directory-based technologies (object management, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Exchange)
  • Solid understanding of broader infrastructure components (Windows server, TCP/IP, WINS, SMTP, LDAP, NTP, antivirus)
  • Solid understanding of and experience with change management processes
  • Solid understanding of various security solutions (encryption, certificates, PKI, IPSec, TLS)
  • Experience with enterprise scale system migrations and upgrades
Preferred:
  • Enterprise-scale experience in Active Directory environments
  • Knowledge of Active Directory-based technologies (object management, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Exchange)
