The Quality Assurance Developer works in a cross-functional Quality Assurance Team, responsible for test design/planning, scripting and execution of the automation tests for proprietary Credit Union software applications both web and mobile. Primary emphasis will be on performing fully integrated test automation in line with the agile software development cycle of core software. They will be required to work autonomously in the maintenance and creation of the test automation as well as work to train and assist in work assignments of QA analysis. The Quality Assurance Developer performs all duties in accordance with Client policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Quality Assurance Developer will be expected to mentor less experienced Quality Assurance Analysts.
  • Maintain and expand our automation framework lockstep with development team
  • Analyze and test new and existing systems and interfaces, including vendor software packages and proprietary systems
  • White box test integration with MS Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Provide status update on QA test completion
  • Perform full systems integration testing between systems and external vendors
  • Develop and manage test scripts, test plans and test requirements
  • Construct and maintain a comprehensive test script library, including but not limited to applicable compliance test scripts using the tools in Microsoft (TFS)
  • Design, develop and manage automated test scripts and capabilities that employ the test script library content
  • Analyze, update, document, verify and manage system change requests (defects, enhancements, new features)
  • Collaborates with the development staff to derive design and test specifications
  • Assist the business units in creation of test scripts suitable for user acceptance testing and sign-off on projects
  • Work closely with IT teams to meet project deadlines and attain key metrics around
  • Provides feedback and/or input into design and usability
  • Perform light SQL for data verification
  • Process enhancements recommendations
  • Review QA analyst work, (Peer review)
  • Manage MS TFS for issue resolution and QA reporting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Working knowledge with web based apps, mobile, websites
  • Automation Testing with Selenium Web Driver 2.0
  • Microsoft Team Foundation Server (Test Professional and Visual Studio 2013)
  • HTML, XML, CSS, SQL, C#
  • Selenium Grid
  • SOAP UI, .NET

Education, Training and Experience
  • 4 year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent technical training and professional work experience
  • 5 to 10 years testing web based and/or client/server applications, creating automated code for regression and integration testing
  • Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing experience
  • Mortgage, finance services, banking or credit union industry experience preferred
  • Working knowledge and experience with QA Testing Tools
