Description
  • Responsibility for day-to-day planning, executing, operation and maintaining of the deployed Netscout TruView management tool.
  • Additional responsibilities include planning, executing, and implementing large, complex Infrastructure projects by working closely with the business team members to accomplish the goals of the business and IT department
  • Activities include creation of comprehensive project plans, and coordination of team members, third-party contractors, and consultants resolving conflicts with the project; and developing/ presenting proposals, reports and project plans to management

Daily Tasks Performed
  • Serve as solution expert for the Netscout TruView management tool, provide day-to-day production support and engineering activity for the delivery of performance matrix and data analytics reporting
  • Engage as project engineer on activities, tasks & initiatives of varying size as determined by project and/or manager.
  • Responsible for establishing project plans, schedules, and documentation including configurations, support processes, and operating procedures.

Musts
  • Strong Cisco routing & switching/data networking skills: routers & switches
  • MPLS, BGP, EIGRP & other protocols
  • Knowledge of Quality of Service, CAC, RSVP, traffic shaping design & implementation
  • Strong experience participating in complex technical projects in large scale networks
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems within converged communications infrastructure
  • Ability to convert requirements into an actionable scope of work & reference documents
  • Excellent oral, written communication, documentation, presentation & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate at both a technical & business level with technical staff, IT & business management
  • Strong coordination skills & work effectively within a team environment. (Internal & External).
