POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Data Integration Developer will work within Client IT department and is responsible for supporting the data integration needs of Enterprise Data Warehouse and other integration solutions.
This individual will on the Data Delivery team to design robust and scalable data integration solutions based on industry best practices. The candidate must have a strong background in Data Integration, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and Data Modeling concepts.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Interacting with Users and SMEs to understand reporting requirements and identify the data sources to fulfill those reporting requirements
  • Develop source to target mappings
  • Design, develop and test ETL and ELT data workflows.
  • Building a reconciliation and exception processes to keep the data accurate for reporting and to keep checks and balances with source data
  • Ensure to deliver optimized ETL design to achieve acceptable performance and utilize the database and ETL resources effectively
  • Data analyst skills to determine root cause problems for data integrity and data quality issues identified through QA or by business report owners
  • Working with Reporting teams to facilitate delivering the reporting solutions
  • Must be able to estimate the work and provide delivery timelines
  • Must be familiar with BI Cloud technologies like Snowflake, Domo, NoSQL databases, Alteryx, Talend or Snaplogic
  • Design and Build ETL / ELT solutions utilizing Data Analysis, Dimensional Modeling and ETL Design
  • Support and Develop Informatica code, Design, Develop and modify mappings and workflows
  • Support and Develop SnapLogic code, Design, Develop and modify pipelines and workflows
  • Develop ODI mappings using combination of out-of-the-box or custom design mappings
  • ETL/ELT performance tuning and optimization
  • Maintenance and support nightly batch schedule
  • Support Microsoft SQLServer 2008R2 using SSIS, SSRS and T-SQL
  • Support Oracle 11.x and 12.x using PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, functions and Packages
  • Develop and support shell scripts (Bash, Korn or C) to support ETL/ELT processes.
  • Leverage best practices, disciplined approaches, and standards to solving technical problems.
  • Perform ongoing monitoring, optimization, and refinement of reports and BI solutions.
  • Collaborate and work with cross functional IT teams.
 
REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, AND OTHER SKILLS)
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 7+ years working in IT with a thorough understanding of SDLC methodology for implementing Data Warehousing projects
  • 7+ years' experience in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing
  • Strong experience working with the ETL tools (design and development)
  • Able to design and architect an ETL solution, including Data analysis, Dimensional Modeling and ETL  / ELT Design using Informatica and ODI in a Data warehousing environment using Oracle and SQLServer
  • Expertise in PL/SQL and T-SQL
  • Knowledge of Noetix Views and Analytics a plus
  • Strong scripting skills (Unix and Windows)
  • Solid understanding of requirements for Data Quality, Metadata, Data Lineage, Operational  Data Management and Operational Data Stores
  • Real time data integration / Data Virtualization a plus
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Data Warehousing (DWH) and ETL concepts, ETL loading strategy and plan, Data archiving, Data reconciliation, ETL Error Handling, Error logging mechanisms and proactive monitoring, standards and best practices
  • Previous experience with the Oracle EBS and Business Intelligence Applications, Financial Analytics and Supply Chain are highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Informatica Cloud
  • Previous experience integrating with SalesForce.com highly desirable
  • A strong sense of methodology, process and metrics
  • A self-starting team player able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
