Duration: 3 - 6 months Contract to PERM
Position Description:
Client is looking for highly motivated and energetic Business Systems Analyst to join our IT Team in Burbank Ca..   The position will support the Client and Field Operation teams and provide expertise in tools, processes, and metrics to provide World Class Systems Solutions. The incumbent will work with business teams, 3rd party vendors, Developers, database administrators, and other business analysts. 
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop overall Project Plans for Mobile Development team and work with PMO on project tracking and communication.
  • Develop Technical and Functional Requirements by working with business and technical teams using Standard tools ( Blueprint)
  • Interact with internal users and customers to learn and document technical requirements that are used to satisfy business requirements documents.
  • Help programmers during system development, e.g. provide use cases, flowcharts or even database design.
  • Develops and implements comprehensive test plans to ensure that systems and programs are tested and debugged.
  • Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
  • Provides references for stakeholders by writing and maintaining Technical designs.
  • Collaborate with Change management to construct user documentation; providing help desk support; training users.
  • Support Deployment of completed systems or Enhancements to existing systems.
  • Helps support existing systems already in production when necessary.
  • Monitors, collects and reports data on system performance.
  • Plans, develops and implements backup and recovery procedures.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant technology experience required, including experience with large, complex technology programs.
  • Strong requirements elicitation and modeling skills and experience with requirements management (Blueprint, Rally, etc…).
  • Experience in User Interface design in web and client-server environments.
  • Experience in developing workflow and functional Use Cases.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and interact effectively with multiple levels of management.
  • Strong Project Management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft products-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project
Preferred Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced SQL skills and deep knowledge of Oracle stack, MS stack, QLIK, Tableau, MicroStrategy, or equivalent BI Tools.
  • Knowledge Web Service based Mobile Apps integrated to heterogeneous back-end systems.
  • Prior work experience as a developer a big plus.
  • Self-starter who requires minimal supervision.
  • Expert in problem solving, and able to follow a methodical implementation process.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, teams, multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to communicate with clients at all levels.
  • Ability to communicate/collaborate directly with application development resources.
