Responsible for facilitating the operationalization of billing system functionality changes with Setup and facilitating the prioritization and establishing of ROI for new Setup enhancement requests.

Day-to-day tasks include research and documentation of system changes, coordinating and documenting testing, partnering with business owners to operationalize new functionality, identifying impacted Setup teams and supporting their learning related to systems Setup uses.

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.
  • Facilitates all system releases by researching and understanding changes and the impact on Setup teams, coordinating testing, UAT, data warehouse changes, etc.
  • Serve as liaison to ROPS BA Team to support all system releases
  • Supports operationalization efforts necessary for new functionality
  • Solicits, manages, and oversees prioritization of new enhancement requests/defect fixes impacting Setup, providing recommendations to leadership
  • Supports all Setup teams by serving as experts on billing system functionality
  • Performs post-implementation support as needed for Setup teams
  • Monitors pending system functionality changes to alert Risk Management to ensure adherence with relevant ROPS and Compliance policies and procedures (including the over-payment policy)
  • Leads and actively engages in meetings and group discussions to move issues forward
  • Supports the design, implementation, and management of team processes to continuously improve performance and meet overall objectives
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop creative solutions to complex system setup issues
  • Serves as Service Excellence point of contact for partners throughout Revenue Operations
  • Prepares ad hoc and recurring reporting as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field, or high school diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare, revenue cycle and/or release management required
  • Intermediate proficiency in Internet and MS Office environments (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Outlook) required, as well as the ability and desire to advance technically
  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle process preferred
  • Ability and desire to learn advanced communication skills required (conveying complex and abstract concepts clearly and succinctly across different audiences)
  • Minimum of one (1 year) experience working in a high responsibility environment requiring self-direction and bias toward action preferred
  • Minimum of one (1 year) experience managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and adjusting priorities appropriately in an evolving work environment with shifting time frames
