The Program Manager, Analytics will be the subject matter expert for all things Adobe Marketing Cloud. This position will be responsible for managing organization-wide data governance process with the CRM, Advertising, Business Intelligence and the Product teams as the stakeholders. The Program Manager will determine requirements and current gaps in Adobe Marketing Cloud implementation and testing processes. The qualified candidate in this role will have managed Adobe Marketing Cloud technology implementation for video streaming applications on Web, Mobile, Gaming consoles (like Xbox One and PS4), Smart TVs and streaming boxes (like Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV etc.). The qualified candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of Agile software development methodologies, consensus building, stakeholder management and product management best practices in an agile environment in order to effectively manage multiple concurrent and dynamically changing efforts is essential as well.
The Program Manager will be an individual contributor and will report into the Global Digital Platform Group and will work alongside a team of product managers each tasked with owning a particular platform or user experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop a data governance process by partnering with internal and external stakeholders
  • Be the in-house subject matter expert and business owner for all Adobe Marketing Cloud technologies (like Adobe Analytics, Audience Manager, Visitor ID service, Adobe SDKs, AppMeasurement, Data Insertion APIs etc.) related enhancements, fixes and updates
  • Author technical specification to be consumed by several development and QA teams for Adobe Marketing Cloud implementation across Web, Mobile, Smart TVs, Game consoles and streaming boxes
  • Author detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria for enabling Adobe Marketing Cloud technologies
  • Perform testing during development and implementation to ensure products are built and deployed according to specifications
  • Debugging Web, Mobile, Game consoles (Xbox One, PlayStation 4), SmartTVs and streaming boxes (Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV) using networking tools like Charles Proxy, Wireshark, Adobe Debug
  • Manage project development from initiation to closure
  • Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports to sponsor
  • Spec out new platform and device SDK's, documenting features, capabilities and restrictions for broader product development and engineering teams
  • Manage a cross functional team of designers, project managers, product managers and engineers
  • Work with technical teams to ensure products operate to the documented specifications
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure specifications include all requirements
  • Lead internal and external development resources to ensure products are built to the specifications
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to solve, clarify and identify key objectives for applications.
  • Maintain and support currently deployed products, including off-hours escalation procedures
  • Define key performance requirements (e.g. consumption, engagement and monetization), gather and validate information applying judgment and statistical tests
  • Must be able to manage a product specific budget, track resource allocation and delivery against budget for each particular task
  • Formulate and utilize various modeling (e.g. video conversion) and optimizing (e.g. a/b testing) methodologies to track all products to better manage business
  • Collect and analyze data from Omniture, Conviva, New Relic and other analytical software available to help prioritize and develop new products and features
  • Analyze the impact of app releases and present insights from internal analytics tools to executive management
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and technologies, and be prepared to apply them quickly
  • Monitor current applications and platforms and create real-time dashboards to track performance of applications and to diagnose or develop new features or problem areas.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS from a leading undergraduate institution in CS/EE/General Engineering or Economics/Physics/Psychology/Math
  • Proven experience with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Audience Manager across web, mobile and connected TV (consoles, smart TV, streaming boxes)
  • Strong background in the building and operating one of the following types of products: mobile, web based or connected TV based
  • Experience in managing high quality streaming service whether live or VOD
  • Experience in managing subscription or heavy user acquisition businesses
  • At least 1-2 years of Strong & demonstrated project management experience with online, mobile, and/or OTT products
  • Experience with digital transformation and managing projects with high visibility to executive management
  • Hands-on with debugging tools like Wireshark, Charles Proxy, AdobeDebug, ADB, XCode for iOS applications
  • Understanding of streaming media protocols such as HLS, RTMP, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on a diverse scope of projects requiring detailed analysis, creative/practical problem solving, and sound judgment
  • Ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • Must demonstrate solid organization/communication skills
  • Agile and/or PMP Certification desired
