Job Summary:
The Sr. Quality Analyst will be responsible for designing, scripting and executing Integration test cases, Security testing for an ERP system implementation. They are expected to be able to write detailed test plans, understand scenario and script development. They must be able be ensure that testing results are accurately documented, and Business process leads are fully informed of testing status and application deviations from documented user requirements.

Qualifications/Skills:
  • Bachelors or Master's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
  • 4 + Years of experience in a software testing / quality assurance role.
  • 3+ Years of demonstrated testing experience implementing AX2012 including at least 1 full life cycle implementations.
  • 2+ Years of Integration testing experience.
  • 2+ Years of Security testing experience.
  • Foundational understanding of SQL and databases.
  • Good understanding of one of the Modules in AX 2012
  • Proven ability to work cross functionally.
  • Demonstrated success in working as part of a global team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute Quality Assurance activities to ensure system standards and user requirements are met.
  • Gain understanding of operating environment, business processes and application functionality.
  • Ability to identify problems, analyze test results and suggest remedies within our functional areas
  • Knowledge of the quality assurance discipline, the defect life cycle management processes, and the software commonly used for test planning and defect tracking.
  • Troubleshooting test case failures (root cause analysis).
  • Identify and create data sets.
  • Provides accurate, clear and concise testing status updates across multiple functional work stream.
  • Collaborate with business process leads, Technical Team to identify the automation test candidates and defines the approach to attain maximum automation coverage
  • Escalates issues to AX Testing Manager as defined or as needed in a clear, concise and timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with peers in Product Development, Project Management, and Client Services, and with external vendors.
