Construction Marketing Manager
Baltimore, MD
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Marketing Manager for their office near Baltimore, MD. Construction Marketing experience is a plus.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Manage the process for responding to all Request for Qualifications, Request for Proposals
  • Develop a strategy for capturing each project
  • Research the competition
  • Assemble 80-90% of an A+ proposal and bring it home with the input of operations (i.e. schedule, technical approach, etc.)
  • Assist with Go- no- Go decisions. ...have an opinion based on the company strategy for growth.
  • Assist with prepping teams for presentations/interviews for best results.
Marketing Plan
  • Collaborate with the executive team to identify growth strategies
  • Develop, design, implement, and facilitate a marketing plan
  • Create brand recognition
  • Strategize and administer to the firm's marketing budget
  • Analyze and review the marketing program and report findings to team members
  • Collaborate with team in execution, efficiency, and growth
Business Development
  • Create and manage marketing templates for new business opportunities
  • Take an active role in industry-specific organizations
  • Develop and maximize industry connections to promote our Client and pursue business opportunities in coordination with the Clients team
Client Retention
  • Surveys – Implement a survey program for project completion feedback
  • Testimonials – Solicit client comments and review internal marketing programs as dictated by the responses
  • Ongoing communication – Ensure clients are included in ongoing marketing and relationship development
  • Programs – Establish programs that safeguard long-term viability of relationships and encourage referrals
  • Advertising – Determine value and budget for advertising opportunities
Promotional Activities
  • Tradeshows – Assess tradeshow opportunities and execute as the marketing program dictates
  • Networking – Actively promote our Client within the industry
  • Public relations – Identify community and media relationship opportunities
  • Special events – Coordinate and plan special event programs
Collateral Development
  • Brochure – Ensure brochures reinforces brand recognition and marketing strategy
  • Database – Develop a shared customer relationship management process involving Ownership and all PX's and pre-construction department
  • Website – Review, enhance, and maintain website content
  • Social networking – Establish strategies that utilize social networking tactics consistent with the Clients brand
Minimum Qualifications
  • B.S./Marketing preferred
  • 5 Years Marketing Experience in the Construction Industry
  • Software proficiencies with customer relationship management applications, Microsoft Office and Adobe Design Suite (i.e. Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) as well as website editing applications
  • Established contacts with local and regional business and trade media professionals
