We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our Client in their Columbus office. The Construction Project Manager will lead, direct and coordinate the day-to-day management of multiple projects located in Columbus and Central Ohio area. Understands project estimation and possess the ability to estimate small projects in a short time frame.Summary Of Essential Job Functions
  • Understand and administer company's contract and subcontract agreements.
  • Foster and enhance owner, architect, subcontractor and vendor relations.
  • Establish, update, and communicate Master Project Schedule and manage its implementation.
  • Manage project site superintendents.
  • Coordinate and acquire project materials.
  • Process and review shop drawings.
  • May work with preconstruction team in development of project.
  • Manage budget and financial reporting, interpret and analyze reports to insure adherence to project budget.
  • Manage the quality assurance/quality control.
  • Ensure that projects are being built to code and are abiding by local guidelines and standards.
  • Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements throughout the project.
  • Drive competencies to team on requirements for insurance, labor relations, and employee relations.
  • Manage multiple projects ranging from $50k-$2M in value.
  • Work with accounting to initiate pay application process and follow up to ensure payment is received in a timely manner.
  • Keep management informed on progress of project and budget through regularly scheduled Operation Review Meetings.
  • Support and carry out activities related to the company core values of Service, Expertise, Community and Fun.
  • Other duties as assigned to aid in the successful and profitable operation of the organization.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Required Skills
  • Candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Architecture, or Engineering and at least 5+ years of experience working primarily as a Project Manager in commercial construction. Commercial interior experience is a must!
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budget, schedule, people, and quality of work at multiple projects/sites.
  • Strong construction software systems experience required.
  • Confidentiality is a must. Must be able to work as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Ability to work with a team and able to adapt to changes quickly in a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to access areas where needed people, information and equipment are located.
  • Ability to make competent use of work-related equipment and materials.
