Iconic, Global manufacturing firm is looking for a WS Commerce Developer. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Websphere team that will be working on large scale projects. The team's vision is move away from the coding and more into design and production deployments, moving from V6 to V7. Compensation: $105-$115 plus 7% bonus (Salary will be based experience level.)


The WebSphere Commerce developer will be an integral part of a development team responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting the technical aspects of Client's ecommerce strategic initiatives and will work with-in a team to implement as well as maintain, support and upgrade existing functionality

Responsibilities: (Short list)

Contribute to the overall design and architecture of web applications
Independently design, code, test major features and work jointly with other team members to deliver complex changes
Develop standards-compliant cross-browser compatible web pages, landing pages and related functionality
Translate visual and written designs into efficient web application components

Entry Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
Core requirement: Experience developing in Java/J2EE-based JSP/JSTL environments, Looking for proactive attitude, someone who can dig into the projects, with strong attention to detail.
3+ years of experience supporting IBM WebSphere Commerce Server- (V6 or V7) applications required
3+ years of experience in web-based application development required
3+ years of experience developing in Java/J2EE-based JSP/JSTL environments required
Strong background in server-side java technologies including EJB and servlets is required
Strong working knowledge of IBM DB2 database/SQL
Knowledge of integrating WebSphere Commerce with backend systems using MQ
Strong working knowledge and experience with JavaScript including AJAX/JSON and JavaScript application frameworks such as jQuery and Dojo
Experience with working with XML data and XSL transforms
National travel required (up to 5%)
