The position is responsible for providing timely, accurate and consistent access to data through the operation of database services and engineering to the organization. The Database Administrator (DBA) will be responsible for daily administration tasks to the corporate databases, including new functionality/enhancement support, and management/application of approved database patches. The DBA will contribute to capacity planning, backup and recovery activities, and system performance monitoring.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES:
  • Primary support for the Sales Reporting functions to ensure timely, accurate and consistent reports.
  • Work with Sales to create reports, dashboards and cubes for analysis
  • Administer corporate reporting system, SSRS and Salesforce.com
  • Create reports for Unipoint using Crystal reports
  • Setup, monitor and maintain data integrations with international third parties for Enterprise Data Warehouse.
  • Responsible for maintaining SFTP, Birst, Boomi, SSIS, and ETL
  • Setup, troubleshoot and monitor EDI systems with international partners
  • Source and provide guidance on cleaning data
  • Support developer on data requirements, triggers, stored procedures etc.
  • Backup developer on testing of code, systems etc.
  • Administer and tune databases for performance and stability
  • Other duties may be assigned

BASIC SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related area (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years' experience in an application and production environment with MSSQL2010+ on Windows platforms, SOQL experience a plus
  • 5+ years' experience troubleshooting and problem solving MSSQL solutions
  • 3+ years' experience with report writing tools like BIRST, or similar Frx, Crystal, Cognos etc.
  • Experience in transforming and normalizing international data streams including multi-language, multi-currency transactions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proven ability to work on projects and support clients either individually or on a team.
  • Demonstrative experience administering SQL Server databases running in Windows environment.
  • Ability to monitor and maintain ETL through Boomi, Salesforce.com is highly favorable.
  • Experience setting up managing and monitoring international EDI systems
  • SQL Server Integration Services, replication, log-shipping, and database mirroring.
  • Experience with data warehousing and Business Intelligence Tools.
