Salesforce Technical Architect

The Technical Architect is responsible for the overall technical design and build of the custom elements of the solution. The Technical Architect works as a team member along with the Offshore Manager, Offshore Development team and Key customer stakeholders to deliver the complete solution for the customer.

Job Description
Co-team with customer and the Offshore technical lead to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements
Produce a detailed technical design document to match the solution design specifications
Complete/oversee the custom development and quality assurance efforts for custom work
Participate and lead, when needed, the project meetings with the customer
Manage multiple development designs and projects to meet project and customer required time lines.
Provide Customer Training as required
Participate in internal projects as required "

Key Technical Skill:
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in Cloud and Salesforce technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities. Additional preferred qualifications are:

B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent preferred
Advanced experience with Salesforce.com configuration and custom development
Excellent hold on CRM domian
Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools
Strong presentation and communication skills
Willingness to travel to client locations (up to 50%)
Good knowledge and understanding of Web Service API's for integration purposes
SFDC Certifications Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, DEV 501
SFDC TA Certificate will be real value add
Ability to understand the business requirements and converting them into solution designs
Knowledge in web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture as well as experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints
Should have hands-on expertise in some of the following technologies: Force.com, APEX, VisualForce, Workflows, Java/J2EE, including SOAP, RESTful and related technologies (JSON, XML, etc), Common frameworks such as struts, spring, hibernate, etc. and Database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures), Frontend technologies like HTML/JS/JQuery/ExtJs.
Thought leadership in emerging web design technologies, web design integration, prototyping , database driven content and web based user interfaces
Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering software that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities
Should have participated in, and be familiar with, Agile (Scrum) project methodologies
Must maintain professional knowledge and relationships with the Salesforce.com ecosystem
5-7 years of relevant experience in professional services, development, sales or customer support operations
2-3 years of Salesforce.com systems integration and/or implementation experience
Proven Development consulting experience
Ability to work in team oriented environments "
