Job Summary: Have command of the enterprise infrastructure for the business processes, location, technology, and organization domains ensuring alignment with the organization's IT strategy and business priorities. Over 5 years of proven experience in IT including: network design, implementation, migrating and upgrading, storage, messaging, virtualization, security, backup, archiving, and maintenance. Play a lead role for consulting projects that primarily focus on establishing infrastructure. She/he should have good working knowledge of Windows Servers, Exchange, Active Directory, Storage, Deployment, Archiving software and VMware.

Essential Duties:
This is a fast-paced environment with lots of projects and a demanding user base.
Assist with ongoing global production systems and network maintenance.
Perform day-to-day operational duties, support users for second and third levels of IT support.
Support and maintain the storage and virtual environment including evening and weekend work. Tasks include: monitoring environments, planning capacity, configuring clients and servers, performing restores, testing, resolving complex issues.
Support and advise management in making strategic and tactical backup and restore decisions.
Advanced knowledge of storage networking (SAN / NAS), messaging and collaboration solutions (Exchange 2010/2013, SharePoint, OCS /Lync, Mobile Iron), networking protocols, and general connectivity in multi-platform enterprise environments.
Provide thorough analysis of disaster recovery plans to develop highly detailed testing objectives, scope and timelines to support end to end business service recovery.
Assisting in the formulation of business continuity requirements and objectives, cost effectively managing risks and managing compliance with laws and regulations.
Assist with creation, management, and maintenance of global systems documentation.
Problem definition and remediation.

Job Specifications: 5+ years of professional experience as an infrastructure engineer in a large and complex IT enterprise environment.
Experience with backup solutions (CommVault, EMC solutions), deployment suites (IBM endpoint, MDT), and experience administering DNS, DHCP, File, Print, Active Directory and group / security policies in an enterprise network environment (Windows 2008).

Datacenter Skills Ability to take pride in maintaining an enterprise class Datacenter following standards and documentation on all builds and racking.

Skills and Abilities:

Technical knowledge of Network technologies as well as a broad knowledge in other disciplines/technologies.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
Thorough knowledge at expert level of backups, SAN (EMC Isilon, VNX, VPLEX and VMAX), disk storage utilization, monitoring systems.
LAN technologies (switches, routers, wireless and firewalls) including centralized monitoring and management in large-scale, high-availability environments;
Professional Certifications are required, including MSCE (2003 or higher), MCTIP, CCNA, VCP, JNCIA, CCA, etc.;
Has had experience delivering a significant series of large infrastructure projects.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Knowledge: Knowledge and skills identified are typically acquired by completing a Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology or related field and/or may be acquired by working in related areas within the IT industry for 5-10 years.
