Description of Work
This position serves as a Junior Systems Analyst and performs systems analysis, design, creation of test plans, testing and documentation for the eCitation and NCAWARE applications. This position must interact with analysis, development, testing, and project management staff assigned to the team. The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form, and the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships within and outside the project team. Responsibilities will include the following:
  • Analysis of existing system components
  • Review and documentation of requirements, use cases, and designs
  • Development and execution of test plans
  • Development of documentation and communications
Required Skills:
Web application analysis and design including ability to fully document requirements and testing. Testing of large, complex systems. Good communication skills.
Desired Skills:
HTML, Section 508 compliance
Training and Experience
Two years of progressive systems analyst experience working with large-scale, complex online systems.
On Call: Contractor may be subject to being placed "on call” for work to be done during non-business hours. This time will be counted as part of the 40 hours per week and schedule adjustments will be made to ensure the contractor does not exceed 40 hours weekly. On call rotation may be up to one week monthly.
