Services shall commence as soon as possible and shall be completed by August 31, 2016; 320 estimated hours for this position initially, could be extended to 740.   This service may be amended, renewed and/or extended providing OAG and Vendor agree in writing to do so.

The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of one Business Analyst, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of ITSAC Business Analyst 2 Category, Emerging Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for the Office of the Attorney General (OAG)
          All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire” and are the property of the OAG.  OAG may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. OAG will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s).
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform business analysis and design services on IT Service Management processes targeted for the ServiceNow ITSM platform. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources. Look for opportunities to improve and mature processes (continual service improvement). Design, development of IT Service Management procedures.
Lead efforts in the design and possible implementation of business process workflows in the ServiceNow platform; provide business process analysis and design services; recommend and document future state solutions. Assist in the development of reports and metrics to measure the health and compliance of Service Management processes. Assist in the delivery of new modules on the ServiceNow platform. Communicate problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. Prioritize, schedule, and coordinate proposed changes with the Project Manager and IT Management Staff.    
Terms and Conditions: Selected candidate will need to pass a criminal background check and be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
   Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
5 Analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
5 Experience with large ITSM tools-based implementation programs. Assisted clients in facilitating business meetings on process requirements and developing business cases.
5 Experience with the IT service management software suite specifically experience with Incident, Problem, Request, Change Management, Project Management and SDLC business processes
